All youth in 8th-12th grades are invited to attend this summer's Presbyterian Youth Triennium at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Youth from our church will travel with others from Monmouth Presbytery for a week of music, worship, Bible study, games, activities, mission experiences, and fellowship.

"...Triennium participants will explore, each day, one of the significant 'I am' metaphors from the gospels. Jesus used the 'I am' images to help the rookie disciples understand his purpose, depth of care, everlasting presence, and wide redemptive love." Visit the PYT website for more details.

Triennium runs from July 16-20, with travel a few days before and after the event. It is $465 per person (this includes all food, lodging and promotional materials) but we'll defer the cost with Christian Education support and fundraising.  Please don't let cost keep any of our youth from attending! Scholarships will also be available.

Contact Jeff Jones or Rev. Larissa Kwong Abazia for more information.

Do you want a challenge?
Do you thrive in spiritual discussions?
Are you looking for ways to live out your faith?

If yes…then come and be part of our Senior High Ministries here at First Presbyterian Church Of Manasquan!  We are all about making disciples here and that means including youth also!  Our ministry challenges each of our students to live their lives as disciples of Jesus Christ every day…not just on Sundays.

FPCOM is a COMMUNITY for high school youth. Gather with us to relax & unwind, to join a unique community, for group discussions about all things pertinent to your life, the world, and how it all fits together...with people of your own age… all in a safe, warm, accepting, and comfortable atmosphere.

Gatherings are Monday evenings, which includes various content ranging from dinner, coffee/snack bar, activities/games, “What’s On Your Mind” sessions, small group community and large group community.  Our talks include continual discussions about what it means to be a Christian in today's society, the college transition, and conflicts between church ideals and society that can arise within home, school and church life.  We also have this wonderful habit of taking off on retreats, planning special events such as fundraisers and church socials, and serving the poor through various mission trips and events!  Gatherings will also include monthly special events and activities.  Check the weekly schedule for details!

Mission Trips - Our high school students normally have at least one major cross-cultural mission trip each year.  We believe that a service trip of this nature has a profound influence on high school students as they develop their attitudes about their place as Christians in this world.

Junior Deacons - Junior Deacons is a service organization open to high school church members.  Students who have recently graduated from Confirmation Class are encouraged to join.  Our Junior Deacons meet once monthly.  Service projects include food service at church dinners and a community mission center, worship ushering and greeting, flower delivery to shut-ins, and a variety of other services of the church.
