The Mantz Ministerial Scholarship Fund
The Mantz Ministerial Scholarship Fund has been made possible by the generous donations of John G. And Evelyn E. Mantz and established by the Manasquan Presbyterian Church for the purpose of providing scholarship funds “to finance the study and preparation for the Ministry” of a worthy applicant who meets the requirements and eligibility criteria specified below.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. educational institution and are expected to have achieved and sustained an overall average GPA to-date of at least 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale (or its GPA equivalent).
- All applicants are required to submit a written application as provided by the Committee. Online applications will not be accepted.
- All applicants are responsible for and must provide all application information to the Committee, including documentation from prior schools and/or colleges, at the time of submission for the application to be deemed complete.
- Applicants may also be asked (a) to appear before the Committee; (b) to provide a written essay addressing their request for scholarship aid; and/or (c) to provide one or more reference letters.
