Pastor Jim has been the pastor at Manasquan Presbyterian Church since July of 2013, after serving in churches in Centralia, Washington and Wichita Falls, Texas. Originally from Olympia, Washington, Jim received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Puget Sound in 1989 leading to ten years working in the banking industry. In the late 90’s, Jim’s pastor (and next-door neighbor) encouraged him toward ordained ministry. After a period of discernment Jim and his family moved to New Jersey to attend Princeton Theological Seminary, graduating in 2003.

Jim and his wife Cindy recently celebrated 30 years of Marriage and have 3 Children.  Jim enjoys spending time with the family and experiencing nature through kayaking, swimming in the ocean, bird watching, golf and many other outdoor activities.

Jim is honored to serve alongside you, the congregation of Manasquan Presbyterian Church, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, growing in our love of God and others.
