Youth in Christian Service
Our Junior High and Senior High young people are encouraged to demonstrate and practice their Christian faith through caring service for others.
Family Worship
Family Worship takes place each Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. during the school year. This is a place to gather with children, parents, grandparents and the whole church family. In Family Worship the young people are recognized for accomplishments in Youth Group, and they help share worship support and leadership. Elementary children are then dismissed to RADhouse .
seventyXseven
Sunday evenings at 7:00 is a time of Alternative Worship for the young at heart. The theme is the same from morning worship. The music varies with pulsating electronic beats, contemporary keyboard sounds, and acoustic guitars. We utilize multi-media and engage multi-senses in the worship of God. The teens, twenties and thirties find a particular point of identity with this worship gathering. Fellowship before the service begins at 6:30.
Music and Worship Leadership Half-Time Team
Junior High students are invited to participate in offering snacks and supervising games with children at Half-Time on Sunday mornings. This is a program directed by our Minister of Youth.
RADhouse Staff
Junior High students are encouraged to participate with our pastoral staff in offering leadership during this special time of worship. We invite students to participate in child supervision, lead singing, offer readings, give announcements and perform drama in church time, share in lesson teaching and discussion with children, and serve as support to leaders.
People with gifts in music (vocals and instruments), computers, graphics, audio-visual technology and drama are encouraged to volunteer to serve in our various worship services.
The goal of PASSAGE is to bring high energy lessons to Junior High students while engaging them physically, mentally, and spiritually. This group meets from 9:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. on Sunday mornings. PASSAGE contains music, multi-media presentations, drama, creative learning activities, small group discussions and Christian leadership development among the younger children. It is designed to help young people pass through some of the challenges of life with God’s loving help and the support of Christian Friends. PASSAGE is for young people in 7th and 8th grades and is a requirement for all those seeking confirmation.
