The Health Ministry is shaped by God’s concern for all aspects of the human condition and directed to the service of the whole person.
The people that staff this ministry are INTERESTED IN HEALTHY LIVING. Included among the staff are knowledgeable and competent members of the nursing profession (active or retired) who have dedicated themselves to developing educational programs that are pertinent to physical health and fitness for the congregation and the community.
Throughout the year, several free luncheon programs are held with invited guest speakers who share their expertise on various topics of special interest to senior citizens and provide information about the various programs that are available to them.
A Healthy Bones program has also been established as an aid to preventing osteoporosis and each fall, a Flu Vaccine Clinic is conducted that is available to the community at large.
