Growth Groups Love Grow Share Blue

Growth groups are designed to provide a consistent, ongoing opportunity to experience deeper connections with God and with others.  Below is a list of days and times that groups are being offered.

MPC 90
Monday Morning, 6AM - 7AM (Feb. 5 - May 7)
Leader: Cindy Wilcox; Location: Fellowship Hall
Let's live with more intention in 2018! Join us for 90 days of spiritual, physical, and social wellness. 6-6:15 devotional, 6:15-6:30 walk (out or inside, depending on weather), 6:30-6:50 muscle conditioning, 6:50-7 Prayer. In a judgment free setting we can encourage each other to live more balanced lives for Christ! Every fitness level is welcome!

The book, “Designing Your Life” by Dave Evans & Bill Burnett is written to provide readers of all ages and situations a practical and hopeful set of ideas and tools that comprise an effective methodology for life and career wayfinding. DYL helps you use design tools to figure out what you want to be as you grow up. We will be discussing the chapters and sharing our experiences with the exercises. The book, the video workshop, and a Christian companion to Designing Your Life will be provided.

Koinonea Group

KOINONEA is a big, fat Greek word that means “sharing” and “in common,” among other things.  It’s the perfect word to describe this class because we meet to share a great message.  We bring our prayer issues, requests, praises and enjoy our unity in Christ that transcends our differences. You can enter at any point and fit right in.

Join us for a journey through the Book of Colossians.  We will learn that Christ is sufficient for every situation that we face in our lives and what it means personally to live "in Christ.”  Our focus will be on practically applying the truth of this book in our daily lives.

MOPS ‘Mothers of Preschoolers'

MOPS meets at MPC on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month.  MOPS connects moms of children from birth to kindergarten age with a community of women who meet to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. There are service opportunities for ’Mentor Moms’ and leaders. Please contact Maddie Soales to get involved today.

Foundations Senior Group
The next meeting is February 8th and features Sal Marino & Dick Handschuch, authors of  “Beach Bums Guide to the Boardwalks of NJ.” All are welcome. Bring a friend! 

Manasquan Christian Writer’s Group
This group is dedicated to writing for the glory of God.  Our mission is to bring the love and peace of Jesus to our congregation, community and the world through the written word. Contact Rob Petillo.

Presbyterian Women Circles
Join a circle for Bible study, fellowship and mission work.  This year’s study is “Consider Jesus" and is a Bible-study guide to help ordinary Christians get to grips with Hebrews.
