On-line Giving
Congregation members and participants may present their tithes, offerings and gifts via the Internet, through a “Bill Payment” program that individuals established at their personal financial institution. Be sure to identify your contribution as “Operating Fund,” “By Faith we Build,” Memorial or Specific Event.

Stock Donations
Our church will accept (in kind) securities to fund any purpose (in your name) for the Operating Fund, By Faith We Build, etc. Be sure to contact the church business office (Treasurer or Financial Secretary) to obtain a form which will facilitate the redemption of your securities through the church’s securities broker. Be sure not to sell the securities yourself to avoid Income tax obligations.

Building Fund
Our Long Range Planning Committee has identified that our facilities need to be expanded to serve our growing congregation (especially our youth and community at Large) and fulfill our Mission Statement. Our building campaign (By Faith We Build) is well underway after years of thoughtful planning, fund raising, and working through the process of having our plans approved by the required governmental entities. Construction is anticipated to commence in June 2008 and will continue for approximately one year, depending upon the amount of money that is raised/pledged vs. costs. “Unpledged” revenue continues toward our overall goal of $3.5 million to complete the ”overall” project (three phases). There are many ways to fund your pledge/contribution:
- Donations of Antiques, Coins, Automobiles, Jewelry
- Securities, Series E Bonds, Tax Refunds/Rebates
- Rental Income of a vacation home

Memorial Funds
Gifts toward specific projects, events, or to acquire specific property to be used by the church’s program – may be given in memory of any individual/s that you identify. Be sure to contact the elders responsible for the gift’s use – Worship, Property, Christian Education, etc.

Endowment Fund
All of us accumulate some assets during our lifetime. If the Church is important in our lives, we can extend our love beyond our regular pledges and gifts through an Endowment. Endowment gifts express our appreciation for what we have spiritually received at the First Presbyterian Church of Manasquan and our confidence in God’s work in the future. Gifts of this type take many forms – such as a direct gift, a bequest in our Will, the assignment of an insurance policy, or the adoption of a deferred giving plan. A direct gift can be made anytime and can include cash, appreciated securities, etc.
