We are looking forward to our NIGHT AT THE MOVIES! This is our way of giving back to the community a FREE EVENING and our thanks for all the gracious support and accommodations afforded us during our construction transition.
We, at the First Presbyterian Church are sponsoring:
FIREPROOF, The Movie. This is a Christian Movie that hit theatres in a big way. It was only shown on about 850 screens in the US and in its first week it was number 4 in the Box Office and remained in the top 10 for 3 weeks (followed by another 2 weeks at number 11)!
The story is about a firefighter (Caleb) who is struggling to save his marriage. Caleb's father challenges his son to commit to a 40-day experiment: The Love Dare (The Love Dare is a real book which became a NY Times Bestseller after the movie debuted.) Caleb's job is to rescue others, and now he faces his toughest job ever...rescuing his wife's heart.
This is a movie about love, relationships, personal struggles and the power of prayer. It has something for everyone and will leave you with ideas to be a “fire starter” in your relationships in your life.
We will host this FREE Movie Event at the Algonquin Theatre, Friday, May 8th @ 7:30 pm.
